Mission-Ready Aerial Solutions

Meet the Founder

Carr Campbell is a United States Marine Corps veteran, educator, executive leader, ranch manager, and lifelong outdoorsman whose diverse professional background forms the foundation of TexVet Drone Services.

His career has been defined by leadership, precision, problem-solving, and a commitment to serving others—qualities that continue to guide every project he undertakes.

Carr proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Persian Gulf War in support of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.

His Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was 0844 – Fire Direction Controlman, a critical artillery position responsible for precision targeting, battlefield coordination, and fire support accuracy. During combat operations, he conducted surveying duties along the Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait borders, ensuring accurate positioning and alignment of artillery assets.

He also served as a 0861 – Forward Observer, providing real-time battlefield intelligence, target acquisition, and mission-critical data under demanding conditions.

These responsibilities demanded precision, technical expertise, spatial awareness, and the ability to perform under pressure—skills that directly translate to today's drone operations involving aerial mapping, inspections, monitoring, and data collection.

Following his military service, Carr spent 22 years as a history teacher, educating and mentoring students while helping them develop critical thinking, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. His passion for education and service left a lasting impact on the communities he served.

In the private sector, Carr served as Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for ALD Incorporated, where he played a key role in organizational leadership, strategic planning, operations management, and business development.

His executive experience strengthened his expertise in project management, customer relations, operational efficiency, and delivering results with professionalism and accountability.

In addition to his military, educational, and executive leadership experience, Carr has extensive hands-on ranch management experience.

As Ranch Foreman for a 75-acre cattle ranch in Van Alstyne, Texas, he was responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the property, including livestock oversight, pasture management, fencing, equipment maintenance, land stewardship, and agricultural operations.

Working closely with cattle and managing large tracts of land provided firsthand knowledge of the challenges ranchers and landowners face every day—from locating livestock and monitoring property conditions to assessing infrastructure and maintaining operational efficiency.

Today, Carr combines his military training, executive leadership experience, ranch management background, and lifelong passion for photography through TexVet Drone Services. Drone technology allows him to apply the surveying, mapping, observation, and analytical skills he developed throughout his career to provide modern aerial solutions for ranchers, landowners, businesses, agencies, and communities across Texas.

Whether capturing aerial imagery for a special event, conducting thermal livestock searches, conducting storm & disaster imaging, documenting construction projects, or providing land assessments, Carr approaches every mission with the same principles that have guided him throughout his life: integrity, precision, reliability, and service.

TexVet Drone Services was founded on a simple mission—to deliver dependable, mission-focused aerial solutions while providing clients with the professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail they deserve.
